Adjunto encontrarán el llamado para un especialista en evaluación y monitoreo para Guatemala.  Una breve descripción es la siguiente: 
 
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be a key position in the 5-year USAID-funded Rural Value
Chains Project (RVCP). The RVCP is part of USAID’s Feed the Future Initiative and, as such, its primary goal is to sustainably reduce global poverty and hunger. To do this, RVCP will:
 
Expand rural household participation in competitive rural value chains (horticulture and coffee; and handicrafts)
Build the organizational, management and business capacity of associative agribusiness cooperatives and associations participating in selected value chains; Expand the depth and breadth of benefits resulting from the growth of rural value chains, especially for
poor, indigenous, and women headed rural households; and Improve rural household nutrition by increasing the productivity of crops grown by poor households for home consumption, and improving food utilization.
 
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for finalizing the RVCP Performance Management Plan (PMP) in order to finalize targets for the life of the program and appropriate measurement tools and schedules. Throughout the life of the program, the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be the senior leader responsible for cross-cutting programmatic information management within the framework of the PMP; monitoring and evaluation; ensuring that information collected is reflected upon, used for continuous improvement of ongoing programs, and is incorporated into consistently high quality reports. The individual filling this position will have responsibility for monitoring and evaluation not only of direct implementation programs, but also of numerous sub-grants and, therefore, will work closely with numerous local recipient rganizations to ensure a unified results management system.
