Several of you successfully completed either OL 101 or OL 341—and found yourselves too busy to enroll in OL 102 or OL 342.

We have a onetime special offer that will allow you to enroll in either of these two courses that begin on November 8 for half-price.

If you started but didn't finish 101341 you can re-enroll for half-price as well.

Two Important Reasons for Enrolling
1. Our advanced courses are extraordinarily interesting—and you need to complete 102/342 before moving forward.

Our most popular advanced courses are:
343 Community Based Adaptation 3: The Community Focus.
344 Community Based Adaptation 4: Sustainable Implementation.

In these two courses you actually take the community centered project developed in 341 & 342 and engage the community in assessing their own climate change hazards, vulnerabilities, and adaptive strategies. They become part of the management team of the project that you have developed with them.

If you don’t have access to a community right now—we will partner you with someone who does.

We form community management committees, and use a number of participatory assessment techniques such as participatory mapping to successfully launch our projects. See an example assignment of participatory mapping from Mauritius.

Another popular pair of advanced courses are 303 & 304: Food Security, Nutrition, and Home Gardens .

See an example of a homework assignment on nutrition and food security surveys from 303 here.

2. The second reason ou to enroll is because completing 102 or 342 will allow you to enter our two Diploma Programs
OL 440 Diploma Program: Integrated CBA, DRR, and Rural Development.
OL 340 Diploma Program: Community Based Adaptation to Climate Change.

To enroll in 102 or 342 simply go to our donation page and pay there—we will track your enrollment from this end:

If you are a citizen of a developed nation, or if you're working in or living in a developed nation your half-price fee will be $82.50.

If you are a citizen of a developing nation, and live full-time in a developing nation, your half-price scholarship fee will be $57.50.

Another easy option is to pay by Western Union—just write me for the transfer instructions at:
