Monitoring and Evaluation Systems

Presentation

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation systems (PM&E) are data-collection and use processes providing evidence of change, with the aim to gear strategies toward expected impact.  Generally, these systems are needed to develop and assess public policy, projects and programmes, promote accountability, help budgetary decision making and improve management of development interventions (PREVAL).

This section will provide information resources as well as useful links and notes on Good Practice in PM&E systems implemented in Latin America and the Caribbean.
