Impact Evaluations are intended to find out whether a programme, project or policy has had long-term results on individuals, households and institutions and whether these results may be attributed to the intervention (PREVAL, A Brief Guide to Key Concepts in Monitoring and Evaluation, 2005). 

This section will provide information resources as well as useful links and notes on Good Practice in Impact Evaluations implemented in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Baseline Studies provide a range of evidence and insights on the initial conditions of the target population of a project, programme or public policy, as well as the dynamics of the context of intervention, so that this information may be compared with subsequent measurements to find out what changes have been achieved (PREVAL).

This section will provide information resources as well as useful links and notes on Good Practice in Baseline Studies developed in Latin America and the Caribbean.
