Emerging Learning Mapping Technique, Brenda Bucheli, Peru, 2005

The Emerging Learning technique may be seen as part of an approach that seeks to build the learning capacity of organisations. Its starting point is identifying guiding questions to guide the reflection process; once these have been prioritised, replies are developed by re-creating what is expected with the specific results obtained from the experience. This practice is then reflected upon and hypotheses are identified to try to answer them and which will lead to conclusions and elements that allow identifying opportunities for the future. Based on these hypotheses and opportunities, an action plan is developed which will be revised in an ongoing manner as part of organisational practice.
